Calling All Artists!

As part of the 14-day #WithTheRohingya campaign, AJAR is inviting all artists - young and old, amateur and professional - to create an original piece of art inspired by the theme of the #WithTheRohingya campaign and its values (empathy, solidarity, justice, and inclusion).

How to Participate in the Art Competition

Post a photo of your completed art piece to Instagram with the hashtag #WithTheRohingya or to Facebook tagging AJAR.

Please also email a photo of your art to WithTheRohingya@protonmail.com.
We will provide a certificate of participation to all who email images of their art for inclusion in the art competition.

Note: You must email a photo of your art to WithTheRohingya@protonmail.com to be considered for the art competition. Those who only post their art on social media without emailing them will NOT be considered for the art competition.

Regulations for your Artwork

Must be an original work of art

Must be possible to photograph the completed piece

May be any medium or style that you wish (i.e. drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed-media, etc.)

The Selection Process

At the end of the campaign, Rohingya refugees working with AJAR and the Liberation War Museum will select the three pieces that best reflect the theme of the campaign and assign them 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. 1st place will win US $100; 2nd place will win US $75; 3rd place will win US $50.

Please note that the prize money will have to be distributed digitally via PayPal, TransferWise, Venmo, or a similar platform.
